Ordering & Delivery
We strive to ship your package no later than the next business day after your order. If your package is not shipped from us within 5 working days of receiving an order, you will be contacted via your email address. For backorder or other conditions where delivery is expected to be delayed, contact Copenhagen Bombay.
If your order is urgent and you need to use your goods before a certain date, it is a good idea to write this in the comment box when you make your order.
If you are from a school or institution, you can pay with EAN number.
Delivery prices
For shipments within Denmark’s borders, we always find the best solution with either GLS package shop, Postnord, DHL or another transport operator. Price is calculated after kg-where the highest kg either in weight or volume determines price.

On delivery abroad-incl. Greenland:
Delivery to the Faroe Islands, Greenland and other countries is paid the current freight by the customer, regardless of order quantity. Before the package is shipped and debit cards are debited or the invoice is sent, the customer is contacted for acceptance of freight amounts, which may vary by kg-where the highest kg either by weight or volume determines the price.
Copenhagen Bombay primarily sends packages with DHL, Post Nord and GLS, but other carriers may be used without prior information on this.
However, timely delivery assumes that the carrier complies with agreed delivery time, according to the transit times they indicate. If there is a delay in the carrier, this will correspondingly delay the delivery in relation to the requested date of supply. Copenhagen Bombay cannot be held responsible for delays in Post Danmark or other carriers.
Copenhagen Bombay always chooses the cheapest delivery method. For overseas countries this will mean that the order is shipped by ship. If you wish to deliver by plane please note this in the comment box. In this case, Copenhagen Bombay will obtain a price and if it exceeds the 260 DKK DKK, you will be contacted.
Warranty and right of withdrawal
Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that the products have an error or have broken down. If this happens to you, we will of course help you solve the problem.
Copenhagen Bombay provides 2 years of warranty under the sales law, including defects in manufacture and materials found at the normal use of the product. The warranty does not cover defects, damage or wear, directly or indirectly caused by improper operation, poor maintenance, violence or unauthorised interference.
Complaints aboutdefectswhich should be detected by normal examination of the product must be communicated to Copenhagen Bombay within a reasonable time. It is your duty to indicate and, on request, show how the error or defect is expressed. If you find an error, please contact Copenhagen Bombay quickly. The item may subsequently be returned for repair, replacement or, where appropriate, crediting. The best way to advertise a product to us is to send an email containing the order number and description of fault/defect. Please send a photo of the error on the item. If an item is to be returned to Copenhagen Bombay in connection with the complaint, we urge that Copenhagen Bombay be contacted before returning the item. In the event that we wish to return the goods, we will send a prepaid postage label or arrange for the removal of the item. If the goods are returned at their own expense, without agreement with Copenhagen Bombay, return costs are refunded in a reasonable amount.
The rules of the purchasing law can be applied.
Right of withdrawal
There is a 30-day right of return on the goods, counting from the day they are received.
If you have purchased an item that you have regretted, you can of course send it back to us. All orders come with a return form and a prepaid label you can use to make it as easy as possible.
As a starting point, you have a 30-day return right. If the product is a gift, we may extend the return right to reasonable extent when you notify us or take note of it in the comment box.
Special items, e.g. Custom-made or customised goods are not taken back. This also applies to goods that lose their value after a certain event is over.
Withdrawal of part of the purchase:
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option of returning one or more items, even if purchased under one order. Please note that if you regret part of your purchase, you will not be returned to the shipping costs

You cannot undo by simply denying receipt of the item-without prior agreement with us.
You simply return the item in the same condition as on receipt.

You will lose your right of withdrawal if you break the seal on goods which, for health or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return. Similarly, if you break the seal on audio and video recordings or on computer software. If items have been purchased to be assembled, they must not have been assembled and used to an extent so as to degrade the value of the item if the purchase is to be reversed.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You bear the risk of the item from the delivery of the goods, and upon return you are responsible for the goods being packed securely.
Once the item has been returned, the purchase price will be refunded to your account within a few days.

We recommend returning returned items to us as a package. Copenhagen Bombay cannot be held liable for goods returned as a letter. We recommend that you use the prepaid return postage note-which costs DKK 45 to use. This covers all freight charges. The amount will be deducted from the final amount that you must have returned for the return package.

If you want to complain about your purchase, please contact Richard Gordon Andersen or Sarita Christensen at Copenhagen Bombay. If we fail to find a solution, you can file a complaint with the Danish Competition and Consumer Agency’s centre for redress, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, via www.forbrug.dk. You can also use the EU Commission’s online complaint portal, which will, however, mainly be relevant if you are a consumer residing outside of Denmark. Transport Damage:
In the case of damage caused during transport, we urge that this be immediately notified to the carrier and also preferably to Copenhagen Bombay. If the package is visibly damaged upon receipt, it is a good idea to either refuse reception, or have it affixed to the cover letter, that the reservation is made, in the event of damage to the goods resulting from transport damage. If in doubt, please contact Copenhagen Bombay. If you notice a transport damage after delivery, you must make Copenhagen Bombay aware of it in reasonable time if it has reduced the value of the goods.

Return of goods is also made to this address-please note that we do not receive packages sent as per demand. Returns can also be done by refusing reception (if we are notified in advance) or by returning the goods to us in person.
It is not a requirement but the expedition is encouraged if adequate information follows the package-e.g. copy of the order confirmation, registration number and account number of the bank account to which the refund may be made, copy of any. Prior correspondence, etc.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words, you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.
If the product has been tested in addition to what is described above, we consider it to be used, which means that you will receive only part or nothing of the purchase amount, depending on the commercial value of the item.
In order to receive the entire purchase amount, you must do the same as you can in a physical shop. You must test the product, but do not take it in real use.
Refund:
In the case of agreed decorations, returned items or prepaid items that are canceled, you will of course get the amount you have deposited to us back. In the event of an impairment for which you are liable, the purchase shall be deducted.
If you use your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer) , without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date on which we have received notice of your decision to withdraw from this agreement. We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, unless you have submitted proof of return before that date.
Copenhagen Bombay follows Danish law.
